5 Ways To Maximise Your Traffic With A $100 Budget

Traffic is the bloodline of any online business.

Without any traffic, the best looking website is useless.

Mastering traffic generation can be both easy and difficult. There is always traffic available on the internet and the key is how to get targeted traffic to your websites.

In order to achieve faster results, I usually encourage my students and clients to invest into paid traffic. However, that does not mean that you need to spend an arm and leg to generate quality targeted traffic.

Here are 5 ways to maximise your traffic on a limited budget.

1) Posting Content

Content is still the king on the internet. With valuable content, you are able to attract traffic.

Publish your content on articles directories, other people’s websites, forums and not forgetting your own blog.

Get your content published all over the internet and remember to link them to the websites that you are promoting.

2) Commenting On Authority And Industry Blogs

If you are unable to post on the authority and industry blogs, then the next best thing is to hijack the traffic by commenting on their blog posts.

Make sure that you register with the site and also include a link to your website. This is a great way to drive traffic when others start clicking on your profile or website link when you make an intelligent comment.

3) Social Media

This is an era of social media. Having a social media presence must not be neglected. More importantly, it is free to start and only cost you time and energy.

The key is to be engaging in the various social media platforms that you are participating in. Whether it is Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you will need to interact with other users and followers.

Then when it is appropriate, post links on these platforms to promote your websites and websites content and that is how you will drive traffic to your websites.

4) Free Gifts

You can create something such as a report or ebook or online course that you can give away.

You can also provide cash giveaways or physical items.

Most people like free stuff and if you give away something really valuable, it will create viral effect. It is like sponsorship.

At the same time, remember to promote your website.

Obviously, if you are on a limited budget, you can spend part of the budget to get the gift OR create free gifts such as video case study that should not cost you a dime in creating them for the giveaway.

5) Affiliates

Depending on your level of business, affiliates may be the most cost effective traffic generation method.

All you need to do is to set up a simple affiliate program and then build up your army of affiliates.

Having contest and use the $100 as prize money can become the best way to generate traffic and sales to your websites.

Generating traffic doesn’t have to be expensive. Before you implement any new tactic, create goals and a plan to achieve them. Test and track for success. Repeat any and scale up the effort when you become successful.

Facebook Advertising: It Is Not About The Likes, Shares or Comments!

Facebook marketing is a popular advertising tactic used for promotion. Both traditional and online businesses use them. Of course, we use them too.

The 3 Main Objectives Of Facebook Advertising

Within Facebook Advertising, there are various ways to advertise. The 3 main objectives of advertising on Facebook are:

1) Awareness
2) Consideration
3) Conversion

Regardless of which objective that you decide to go for, ultimately, if you are promoting your business, what you will want is to increase your revenue.

The #1 Mistake People Make With Facebook Advertising

Today, I like to discuss with you about a common mistake people make when doing Facebook advertising: And that is to focus on getting likes, shares and comments.

In reality, it is not about likes, shares and comments. The most important thing to look at when using Facebook advertising is to see the number of Facebook users clicking on the link that you are promoting.

It is technically not too difficult to get a huge amount of likes and shares. Do you know that you can even buy likes for as low as $5?

However, do the likes and shares translate directly to sales?

Let’s take a step back, in order to have sales, the audience needs to go through your sales page and purchase the product.

And for that to happen, you have to ask yourself… “How did the audience arrive on your page?”

Answer: By clicking on the link that was advertised in Facebook!

What You Should Instead Focus On For Your Ads

Therefore, there is a metric that marketers should be concerned with. It is the click-through rate or CTR of your ad.

This is because, having many Likes, shares or Comments is going to be useless they are going to click on the link to visit your website and make a purchase.

For instance, you create a post on your Fanpage and decide to use the Boost Post function to advertise your post.

In your post, your aim is to bring them to an affiliate product sale page.

You then create a post and advertise it.

The post gathered 500 likes, 50 shares and 100 comments.

This might seem like a good result until you realize that only 10 visitors actually click on the link to visit the sales page and you make 1 sale.

Something seems awry, right?

500 likes but only 10 people clicked on the link to view the sales page?

This is because likes, shares and comments do not translate to clicks directly!

Yes, you may be able to have more likes on your post or Fanpage, but do you know that all your fans may not be able to able to see your post all the time?

They can choose to like your page but unfollow the fanpage, meaning that they will not see anything that you post on the fanpage.

Even if they follow your fanpage, Facebook may not show the post to all your fans! (That’s how Facebook works, in order to force you to pay them to boost the post.)

It is nice to have many likes and shares but you will never know the “quality” of the likes as liking is an “easy” task to do on Facebook.

Not to say having “likes” doesn’t matter though, because having many likes can help to reduce your advertising cost by translating into more exposure for your content.

Having shares and comments take more effort than likes but it is still the clicks to the website that matter ultimately.

So, please remember not just focus on Likes, Shares And Comments but the clicks to your website to measure the effectiveness of your Facebook ads.
