What Can You Learn From Samsung Exploding Phone And Washing Machine?

I had been using Samsung Galaxy Note series for some time and owned a Note 7 before exchanging it for another Samsung phone. To be honest, Note 7 is really a good phone but unfortunately, the battery is not well-made. For the past few months, Samsung, the largest business conglomerate in Korea has been making headlines for the wrong reasons. However, there is much to learn from this episode that can be applied to our online business.

1)            Branding and reputation

Samsung is the only other brand that can “fight” with Apple currently but with these 2 exploding products, it hurts Samsung branding very bad. The good news is that over the years, Samsung had built up a credible electronics brand and it is still the number 1 smartphone producer despite Note 7 woes (accordingly to a cnet.com report on 17 November 2016). Hence, your branding and reputation is very important whether you are doing an online or offline business. Always be ethical and make the right decision for your business even thought it might hurt your revenue.

2)            Diversify your market once your first business is profitable

Samsung itself does not just concentrate only on electronics sales. It has diversified its portfolio into shipping, medical service, financial service and many more.  However, without any doubt, the aim of venturing into these markets is to make money for Samsung. It is the same for your online business, once you are successful in your first market, you need to replicate your blueprint and develop other markets.  If you have a successful digital product, you can launch another product for sale. Rinse and repeat. Do not rely on just one source of revenue.

3)            Good Customer Service

Samsung offers exchange and refund to Note 7 users and also recalled all the affected washing machine. This is a bold and necessary step to minimize any potential harm to users. Samsung tries to offer exchanges and cash top up in order to keep their customers. Samsung even offer trade in for the unreleased Galaxy Note 8 in an attempt to retain Note 7 customers. So in your online business, how do you provide good customer service to your users and prospects? Listen to them and reply them.  If there is anything that you can improve your service, go ahead and do it. Good customer service will retain your customers and also make them buy from you again.

However, please do not promote any products that will explode or harm your customers. 😛

Secrets of Best Selling Headlines

I have made millions from selling digital products online and one of the success factors is attributed to headlines that are able to sell and draw the readers’ attention.

The attention span of any visitors to your website is very short and if the website’s headline does not capture the visitor’s attention, chances are that they are less likely to read the rest of your website or sales letter.

Hence, if your headline is able to capture the visitor’s attention and make them continue to read the rest of the sales copy, your conversion rate will be higher.

So what are the secrets of best selling headlines? In today post, I am going to reveal the “secrets” to you.

Secret #1 – BIG HEADLINE and relevant image

With a BIG HEADLINE and relevant image, it will capture the visitor’s attention and it will be able to either pre-frame the visitor’s mindset or interrupt the visitor’s pattern.  It helps to increase the conversion rate.

Secret #2 – Using Curiosity with the help of the 5 Ws and 1 H.

Who, what, when, where, why and how. Using the 5 Ws and 1 H is a good guide to help you write a bestselling headline.  Use the right keywords and benefits that the visitors will receive to hook them into reading the rest of the page.

Eg. Learn How Your Can Skyrocket Your Online Income Within 17 Days Using This Secret Trick!

Secret #3 – Solution-Theme format

Offering the solution in the headline to the problem that your reader is looking to solve will definitely increase their chances to continue to read the rest of the sales copy.

Eg. Discover How You Can Get Rid Of Your Stubborn Tummy Scars In Just 3 Simple Steps!

Secret #4 – Shocking news format

People just love news and this is basic human instinct. When your headline is like shocking news, it will hook the visitors and make them to continue to read further.

Eg. 14 Years Old Discovered a NEW Profit System Making $3,427.08 Overnight!

Secret #5 – Offering improvement

Instead of begin competitive, I prefer to say that we as human being, like to improve on what we have. That’s how the world keeps advancing forward. Offer the improvement as a key benefit to make your visitors continue to read the rest of the page.

Eg. Find Out How You Can Dominate The Search Result And Leave Your Competitors Behind.. FOREVER

Now, the BIGGEST “Secret” is to test your headline and tweak it. If you have the resources, it is best to do split testing to understand which headline is working for you. Tweak, test and repeat to get your bestselling headline today!

Best Of Both Worlds – Free Traffic VS Paid Traffic

Traffic is the main fuel for running your online business. Without traffic, your business will not be able to move forward and generate revenue.  There is mainly 2 main categories of traffic – Paid Traffic and Free Traffic.

I always encourage our students to master one paid traffic method and one free traffic method. Hence, you will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. Please also note that the traffic methods are also dependent on the niche of your business. Different niche has a different reliable source of traffic.

In general, paid traffic means using money to get the traffic while free traffic means that you are required to do some “work” to drive the traffic.

Why do we encourage using both types of traffic? This is because for most of the time, paid traffic will be able to provide you with instant result. On the online world, speed is very crucial to your success. You’ll want to be able to test, tweak and maximize your website conversion as fast as possible. The result may be positive or negative but it allows you further fine-tune your website.  Free traffic tends to be slower and you may not be able to see the result immediately.  However, as you build up your free traffic, it will grow in momentum and continues to brings you traffic even when you stop doing activities that brings in the traffic. On the other hand, your paid traffic strategy will not work once you stop investing in it.

Here are some of the ways that you can get your traffic.

Free Traffic

  1. Social Media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
  2. Forums
  3. Blogs
  4. Videos
  5. Basic SEO

Paid Traffic

  1. Per Per Click such as Google Adwords and Microsoft Bing Ads
  2. Social Media Ads such as Facebook Ads and Twitter Ads
  3. Banner Ads
  4. Emails Ads
  5. Native Ads

Now, let’s get going and get some traffic!

“7 Strategies To Create Great Content For Your Blog (And Why Pokemon GO Is One Such Strategy!)”

Lets talk about blogging!

Firstly, blogs have “evolved” over time. In the past, it gained popularity when many people started using blogs as their personal online journal. After that, it transited into a more organizational use and many people started using them for business purposes as well.

However, I feel that “real blogs” are meant to be more personal in both presentation and approach, with a less corporate feel…like this blog! :-)

blog-1027861_960_720Blogging is about sharing your passions and thoughts, and at the same time, monetizing the platform too so you can make money.  Hence, I usually encourage my students to use blogs as a platform to start their online business as it is simple, personal and very easy to start with.

However, it’s all about consistency and to be able to blog continuously is not an easy task. This is especially so if you’ve a day job and busy schedule.

You also need to ensure that what you’re blogging about have an impact. Meaning, it has a purpose, quality and hopefully, highly informational and educational.  Fact is, if your blog’s content is not too good, it just reflects negatively on yourself.

This is so important that I’ve decided to list down the SECRETS to always creating good, purposeful and informational content for your own blog…

Lets look at 7 simple strategies to do just that!

  • Reviews

You can do review type blog post. Most of the time, you will be doing a product review.

This can be applied to many things, from reviewing food which you commonly see on food blogs (which are very popular) to reviewing a movie you’ve just watched, to a software that you’re promoting. As you can tell, there are many different topics and options to choose from. Most importantly, talk about a topic you like and have a passion for!

Within the review post, you can summarize the overall benefits of the product and discuss what you like or dislike. You can also include thoughts about how the experience or product can be improved.

  • How To Tutorials

“How to tutorials” posts are very popular these days. This is because it can be very valuable to the readers, especially when they get to learn about a topic they are seeking information on.

arrow-1538699_960_720

“How to tutorials” posts usually provide step-by-step guidelines on how a topic works or how to do a specific task. For example, a post about how to upload website files onto the internet using FTP, or a post about how to use Excel.

Again, most times you can then recommend a relevant product or service (your own or affiliate product) as a complete solution to the readers. This way you get to monetize your content!

  • Videos

Another popular type of blog post content you can create is videos.

Video is simply another content format, which can sometimes be easier than writing and typing.

You can also record a personal video to discuss, comment about a topic or teach something. A good idea is to do a “how to video tutorial” instead which is more effective in terms of presentation than text.

For example, it can be an on screen capture type of video to do a specific task, or you speaking over a powerpoint presentation and recording it. Both methods can be done with software tools like Camtasia or Camstudio.

  • Personal Experiences

success-503509_960_720Share your own personal experiences are one of the best types of blog post you can create. Again, it can be very varied on different topics. Just be careful what you say though, especially if it’s something controversial or illegal.

What I’m recommending though is to share your personal experiences on an educational topic instead. For example, what I do is share my own internet business experiences, successes and mistakes so that others can learn too.

Sharing your personal experiences will also add a huge human touch to your blog and cultivate a deeper relationship with your readers.

  • Industry News And Articles

You can also blog about industry news and articles. This can easily be done by sharing news and content from authoritative websites in your niche, giving credit to the source at the end.

For example, if your business is about social media, you can look out for the latest updates on Facebook and share them with your readers. This saves people time and effort.

social-media-1430513_960_720

  • Other People’s Content

I know we’re all lazy so besides coming up with your own content, you can share other people’s content! This is very similar to the previous strategy but for this specific strategy, you would also want to add your own opinions and tips as an “add on”.

  • Current Trends

One of the most popular blogging strategy is to blog about current trends in your topic or niche. People get excited about trends and they also want to be updated constantly and always be “in the know”.

pokemon-1555036_960_720For instance, at the time of writing this post, people are crazy about “Pokemon GO”. Apart from the entertainment perspective, trends like these can lead to new industries and more businesses being created.

It’s already happening and there are many existing and new businesses leveraging on the trend now. For example, restaurants riding on the popularity by creating “Pokemon menus” and engaging real life actors to act as Pokemon characters in the restaurants, to attract players to come catch some Pokemons and dine at the same time (is that even possible??)

I’m also certain there are, or will be various informational products like “how to play Pokemon GO” type of ebooks and videos leveraging on the trend and making a lot of money.

Businesses and individuals are also riding on the trend by leveraging it as content, videos and more. The below is just a screenshot example of a website doing this:

pokemon

Yes, I’m guilty of being in this trend too, on the entertainment side that is.

I hope you enjoyed, and most importantly, benefited from this content.

Now go and create your next great blog post!

How To Market Your Business Online

Marketing effectively isn’t all about the size of your budget; it’s about your audience. Even though you may be faced with a shoestring (or even a nonexistent) budget, one thing you do have is time. You most certainly can market your business on a shoestring, as long as you’re willing to put in the time and effort. Let’s jump right into it.

Regardless of your budget, understanding your audience is at the core of being able to  market your business so that you attract the right audience.

Your blog is the base from which all action should take place. It doesn’t matter whether or not you pay for your blog; everything you do should be on your blog before you post it anywhere else.

3) Facebook Pages Are a Must

Sign up for a Facebook Page for your business, then announce every new blog post, every new bit of information on that page, always linking back to your blog in the process.

4) Set up a Pinterest Account

Pinterest is hot right now. If you can find a way to incorporate pictures for each new blog post, you can promote yourself on Pinterest.

5) Set Up a Well-Made Linkedin.com Profile

Set up your profile and fill it out completely. Seek to improve it at all times, cross-pollinate information from your blog to Linkedin.com. Ask people to recommend you and endorse you. Do the same for others.

What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Internet Business

Hi guys! How have you been?  I have a pretty tight schedule and you can see my schedule here. As you can see, I have been speaking at various events around the world. Many people know me as a Number 1 Super Affiliate in the internet marketing industry. For people who knew me, they know how I started my internet business by working everyday from 11pm to 2am before getting any real results. And yes, I was struggling for five years before I actually make real money from the internet!

Since then, I have achieved many things and at the same time, traveled around the world, helping many others to achieve their dreams. As mentioned earlier, I have spoken at countless live events and conducted numerous training. One common question that I always come across from my students or audience is what I wish I knew before starting my own internet business.

Today, let me share with you what I wish I knew before getting started.

#1 Have Laser Sharp Focus!

Nowadays, there is so much information on the internet and it is very easy to find information on how to make money online. However, with so many information and new ways to make money, it is very easy to get overloaded with information and get confuse. Do not try every new method that you discover, stick to one proven method. It is proven for a reason. I tried almost everything I can lay my hands onto when getting started and did not have much success until I start focusing. So, please focus.

#2 Massive Right Actions

Yes, besides having laser sharp focus, you need to put in MASSIVE RIGHT actions. Not just any form of actions or effort but the correct ones. Do not tell me that you are researching on the internet when you end up Facebooking. You need to be doing the right things such as driving targeted traffic and communicating with your list. Consistency is also a key here. Stopping for a rest for a day or two can greatly affect the business. If you want achieve big results, put in massive right actions everyday.

#3 It Is Not Easy

I struggled for 5 years. Most of us only saw the glory side of a success story on earning big money. But how many actually knew, understood or even went through the kind of hard work that these successful people did before succeeding? Internet Business can help you to achieve your goals but you need to work for it. It is not an overnight get rich quick scheme. It is not easy, if it is easy, everyone will be doing it. However, there is always a “short cut”. Click here to find out more!

#4 Get Someone To Bring You To Your Goal

Coaching

From 1997 to 2002, I tried literally everything before having success on the internet. Imagine what things you or me could have achieve in a period of 5 years. What if you can reduce the amount of time required to succeed? Won’t it be wonderful? I realize that getting someone to bring you to the place that you want to be is the most effective and fastest method. This is because the person knew how to get there. The next best thing is to get the successful person to help you in your business. I guess, I call this the “easier way” to reach your goals.

I hope you like what I have share with you today and let’s get things started!

WAKE UP CALL (Secret To Making Real Money Online)

EwenChiaPhoto I thought I’d write this post for you so that you can succeed online for sure…

In fact, if you act upon the information here, YOU WILL SUCCEED.

You see, here’s the reality and this will probably hit a few hot buttons…

With the vast number of diffferent business models, methods and products available  online today to help you start an internet business and  hopefully make money online…

I’ll be as LOST as many of you if I was just starting from scratch!

I do get it.

I do see your point.

That it’s not easy at all.

You know what?

It’s time for a huge WAKE UP CALL!

Why? Because apart from the direction you need and the many choices you’ve to make, a HUGE cause of failure has everything to do with…

YOUR OWN ATTITUDE, MINDSET AND ACTION.

Seriously.

Meaning, you. Yes, you and only you, are responsible for your own success or failure, not anyone else, not me, not them, but you.

Like it or not – the truth can hurt. This is going to sting but it needs to be said especially at this time.

Remember (and I’m not necessarily referring to anyone in particular but)…

Losers complain, whine and blame others. Winners just DO whatever it takes to succeed, with NO excuses.

Now before you go yelling at me, let me explain…

Most people do NOT think and do what is required. It’s too hard work.

What? Think and do? What’s that??

Thinking about your plan and goals – and acting on them to make them real.

Look at your options and decide your path.

Then write out your PLAN and goals and apply them.

That’s all that matters.

Without a plan and goals to drive, motivate yourself and act upon, no products can help you.

It doesn’t have to be a 500 page business plan, just something simple to tell yourself what you want to achieve in a certain time period.

I suggest you read my book “Make Millions Online” immediately if you haven’t yet.

Really read it, take notes and THINK about it.

Here’s why…

It will give you the direction and plan.

With the benefits of hindsight and experience (after spending 17 years online and making millions of dollars for real) let me tell you what’s working for me…

My biggest success comes from…

BUILDING AND MONETIZING MY OWN EMAIL LIST.

It’s funny, sometimes when you tell it like it is, many people still don’t “get it” and continue chasing shiny objects everywhere.

Or they complain they can’t do it because they lack the skills and knowledge.

Go get the skills and knowledge then!

Who’s stopping you?

Yourself.

Listen, let me say it again…

My biggest success comes from…

BUILDING AND MONETIZING MY OWN EMAIL LIST!

Get it?

All successful marketers stick by this. Doesn’t matter if you’ve just started, thinking of starting or have done this for years…

THIS IS THE SECRET TO MAKING REAL MONEY ONLINE AND IT’S NOT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTIME SOON.

Whether in 2015 or beyond. In fact, it’s going to be even more important in the future.

Get it?

Get it??

Get it???

It’s what you’ve probably been searching for, heard about it but didn’t register before.

Well take your time, it took me 5 years to “get it” way back then (but now I’m providing  you with an instant “short-cut” to success by telling you this!)

Once I did get it, took action and DID what I was supposed to, I became wildly successful!

And you know what?

YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

I encourage and challenge you to do so.

So let me repeat (again), the “secret” to making real money online, even millions, is simply by…

BUILDING AND MONETIZING YOUR OWN EMAIL LIST.

Once more, read my book to get the full picture, there’s way more explanation there as to why it works and HOW it works.

Now the question is…

If you want to build and monetize your own email list, how the heck do you start?

You need to understand the BIG PICTURE first and what you need…

(By the way, I love big pictures as it helps you know what you’re doing. I coined my own term for it called “Big Picture Marketing” :-))

Here’s the big picture to help you build and monetize your list:

Big Picture List Building By Ewen Chia

May take some time to decipher as my writing and drawing is not the best.

But this is the simplest way to do it so you can build your list and make money at the same time.

Here’s what you need, this is what I call a “money-getting” formula…

1. SQUEEZE PAGE

A squeeze page is simply a ONE page website whose only objective is to get  prospects’ contact information or email addresses…

Keep it simple. It can be ugly and still make millions.

No distraction or other ads.

JUST GET THEIR EMAILS.

2. OFFER

You need to sell a product to make money, it can be your own or a merchant’s product.

To keep it simple, it can be a merchant’s product (affiliate marketing) so you just need to redirect subscribers who optin from your squeeze page to your affiliate link!

You can promote an affiliate offer that pays you $20-$50 per sale, or one that has the potential to earn you up to $5,000 a sale.

Which makes more sense, especially if it takes the same effort to promote either one? As I said in my book, making high commissions is a much better option, all things being equal.

3. EMAILS

You MUST learn to write great, money-making email messages that SELL.

You can write a series of them and presave them in your autoresponder campaign, and also send email broadcasts to your list of subscribers.

4. TRAFFIC

Master a few traffic strategies to promote your squeeze page…

Keep sending traffic so you grow your list and make money daily!

Oh yes, you need a PROFESSIONAL autoresponder service so you can capture, store, manage and email your list. I recommend Autorespond.com (it’s what I use).

These 4 components that you see above make up what’s commonly known as a MARKETING/SALES FUNNEL.

If you had heard or read of that phrase before, that’s what it means.

Go get the necessary skills and knowledge to do all the above WELL.

Become a MASTER at building and monetizing lists.

Become an EXPERT in creating proven marketing funnels that captures prospects and turns them into customers.

Here’s an example of one of my million dollar marketing funnels:

Ewen Chia Marketing Funnel

Creating such a marketing funnel isn’t something most people can do overnight.

In all honesty, it will probably take A LOT of effort, time, testing and experience – but it will be worth it.

An option is to outsource the creation to experts, if you have the money!

It will realistically cost you at least $5,000 for a custom marketing funnel like what I have…

Or you can get it FREE…

I’ve a time-sensitive option for you to have your own complete and custom marketing funnel designed, created and set up entirely free. It’s the whole works and something you own and  earn from FOR LIFE.

You can click here to see if it’s still available if you’re interested…

Anyway, once you’ve mastered the “secret” I shared with you today, you’ll NEVER be short  of money again because you can make your own money online. Seriously.

And that’s a real promise.

It works in almost every niche and business model online by the way.

By the way, you may or may not know, but one of my most popular products, “Autopilot Profits”,  teaches you this “secret” in a lot more detail, plus give you tools and more, including a quick 5-minute  set up that you can start with immediately.

You can check it out here.

Hope you enjoyed this post and wishing you a prosperous 2015!
