Making Youtube Ad Magic: Learn how you can setup your first ad up today!

So You Wanna Advertise On Youtube?

If you’re coming back from the other article, that’s great! If not, check it out here.

Let’s keep it short and sweet, seeing as you know why you’re here now. :)

Firstly, let’s start off by going to your Ad manager. From here you can click on the Ad that you are looking for. Seeing as we are making Youtube Ads, you can select the video option.

After this, you will be brought to the next page.

From here, you will now put the groundwork that will go into your Ad. In this page, you will put the settings that would allow you to your Ad work the way it should.

The first filed is the name of the campaign, this should be quite self explanatory, just key in the name of the campaign. You can call it whatever you like.

After this, you will now set the type of video Ad that you would like. The easiest way for you to have your Ad running is to use the standard setting. However, if you would like to promote an app, or some Ecommerce item, you will be able to use the other two options.

Now you will have to choose between In-stream or video discovery Ads or Bumper Ads, if you need a refresher for what these terms are, you can always refer to the previous article here.
From here, you will choose the CPM and the CPV cost of your Ad. If you would like a better explanation of these terms, you can refer to this article here.

You can manually bid for Advertisers to show your Ad, or you can do it automatically.

Manual bidding is better if you would like to keep your costs low, or if you have a good idea of what you are doing as is. If you’re new, you can always start off with automatic bidding on other forms of Ads, but for Youtube you can only bid for Ads manually.

Before you proceed to the next page, take a look at the Advanced Delivery Methods tab. Under this submenu you can set your delivery method, targeted locations and networks.

One thing to note is that you will have to target your local area if you are running a brick and mortar business, or if you are offering services in an area.

There are a few other options, but we can ignore these for now, you can always learn more about them if you like at a later date.

In the next page, you can set the video that you would like to use as the Ad, and the bidding amount. Another feature of Google Adwords for Youtube is the ability for you to set a higher bid from your current bid for popular videos. A higher bid here would encourage people to use your Ad more often for popular videos. And a higher bid overall would make it possible for more people to see your Ad.

Targeting

Another key factor in the success of your Ad is it’s targeting. You will need to know how you can make your Advertising capable of reaching the right audience.

Without the proper targeting, your Ad will not be of much use. Before you target your audience, you will need to know what you can do with the Ad targeting.

Demographics and Interests

The two main settings that you can Adjust are the demographics and the interests that you will be targeting. With the many choices available, you will need to think long and hard about the methods that you can use in order to reach your audience.

You can consider the general demographics first. Who will view your Ad? If you’re selling makeup you will definitely target women from 18 to 40, and if you are selling gym equipment you would target men from 18 to 40 too.

Secondly, you can target the actual interest group that would be interested in your products. You can either choose from a list or search for an interest that you would like to use.

Examples

We came up with a few possible scenarios that you may be able to refer in order to get your Add off the ground. For Example, you can use the Sports and Fitness interest to promote a weight loss product, or an exercise guide to men from 18- 40. Alternatively you can promote a weight loss guide under Beauty and Wellness, to women between the ages of 18 – 40.

The possibilities are endless, its up to you to come up with your own Ad ideas and get to work making your Ad successful.

If that sounds appealing, Pintrest is the site for you!

Pintrest is a unique take on what a content aggregator should do. Instead of pulling up a single board; which is a category of things that you are interested in, Pintrest is a network that will pull up content from multiple boards that you are interested in, all at once.

Now that you understand what Pintrest is, you can learn how to market yourself on it, and generate leads.

Marketing On Pintrest: A basic guide

Free Marketing

Marketing on Pintrest for free is not only possible, it is also quite easy to get  started with your own content to be done.

To begin, all you have to do is to create a board that you control. Creating a board is easy, and you can make one in a matter of seconds.

Why use a board?

There are mainly two ways to market for free on Pintrest, by writing comments, or by making new pins.

Pins would allow you to have two benefits over comments. Firstly, people will not report you for spamming their pins, secondly, you can now create content and post it to your page to have other people view and save your pins. These pins will not allow your content to be seen by other people who have subscribed to your board, but they will also have an easier time reviewing your content, as they might have bookmarked the pin that you had made.

Having your pin saved would also allow you to have a lasting presence in the minds of your audience. Till your post is removed when the board it is on updates, your post will be available for viewing to anyone who has subscribed to you board.

What if I want faster traffic?

There is an easier way to get your traffic. Pintrest has paid advertisements that you can use in order to be able to advertise directly to people using Pintrest itself.

From here, you can see how to create business oriented pins, and then run said pins as ads to Pintrest.

Remember, just because you are making an ad, does not mean that their rules do not apply. In order to make your ads work, your content will still need to be of quality, engaging, and worth viewing.

I hope that you have learned how you can make use of Pintrest to market to an international audience of 175 million users.

Top 3 Reasons For You To Change To Email Marketing

In the modern age, it is very easy for us to be distracted. Social media has offered us a large variety of ways for us to be able to place ads and market our products and services to people all around the internet.

Despite this, some people may not find success with their current choice of marketing online. In this article, we will explore the benefits offered by email marketing.

1.) It is still one of the best forms of marketing available online.

McKinesy ranks email marketing over many other forms of marketing available online. ( http://www.mckinsey.com/business-functions/marketing-and-sales/our-insights/why-marketers-should-keep-sending-you-emails ) While people may be spending less time everyday checking their emails, people are still more interested in the sales offers that they get off of their email inbox. ( the rate at which e-mails prompt purchases is not only estimated to be at least three times that of social media, but the average order value is also 17 percent higher. )

2.) Capture more sales from your traffic

Email marketing is also able to help you to capture more sales from traffic that you may get. By capturing their email address, you can retain their attention over a longer period. Most people will forget about your site minutes or hours after they have seen your site. But if you can email them and interact with them over days or weeks, you can not only retain a larger amount of your current audience, but you can show more of your brand, and the products that you are offering.

3.) Giving that personal touch

With the information that you collect from emails, you can even collect information that would allow you to be able to send personalized sales offers and messages to your subscribers. By offering them content that is directed at their specific interests, you can offer them a better experience interacting with you.

With your current email database, you have more information that would allow you to be able to get more sales and engage your readers even more.

If you have a standard site, and you have been using a method of traffic to market your products normally, you can change to email marketing and still use your site to market and display pages that would be more relevant and better targeted to that specific email segment.

Regardless of the current ad campaigns that you are running now, Email will easily integrate into your current ads. All you must do is to drive them to a page with an email form that they may use to sign up for more discounts and promotions.

You can get your traffic into your autoresponder by providing the page in a popup on your site. Alternatively, you can have your main page display an email form at the side. Your traffic will see the form and subscribe for your emails.

I hope that you have learned more about the benefits of email marketing, and you can now start writing your first email campaign.

Getting Your First Facebook Page Up

In this post, we will look at what you need to do in order to get your first Facebook page set up and running!

There are two ways to make a Facebook page, you can either use your personal account, or use a Business Manager account.

Creating a Facebook page from your personal account is easy, all you need to do is to get into your personal Facebook account, and go over to the pages tab.

After that, all you have to do is to click on it, and you will see a tab for you to get started on creating your page.

If you have a Business Account, you can make a page that is associated with the business account that you are using.

There are a few benefits to this, firstly it prevents people from seeing the pages that you control if they manage to see your pages in your personal account, if you were to accidentally forgot to log out of a public computer, or if you have lost a device with access to your personal account.

This will not prevent them from logging into your Business Manager if you have logged into your account, and they will be able to access your pages. However the added layer of having a business account makes it harder for them to access pages that you control if they didn’t know about your Business Manager.

To start, click on your business settings:

From here, you can add a new page:

Look at the professional pages out there, they are content rich, and provide their audience with some reason to stick about. On any social media platform, content will bring in the traffic that you are looking for.  Now that you have your page, you can start to fill your page with content and start marketing on the internet.

Learning From YouTube: 3 Tips On How To Capture Your Audience’s Attention!

Over the past few years, advertising on various traditional forms of media has been declining. People are less and less willing to sit through boring TV commercials for reruns, and listen to the same top 40 hits of the year on radio.

Platforms such as YouTube and Dailymotion have been steadily growing in size and increase their influence, and more and more companies are spending on advertising through such media channels.

Over time, some YouTubers developed huge subscriber bases through the use of strategies, here are three of them.
1.) Good titles with good content

YouTube is full of titles that have no link to their videos, it is common for a video to have one, and then proceed to be absolutely irrelevant from the topic discussed in the title of the video, older members of the audience especially dislike having to watch something that was completely unexpected from what they had expected when they clicked on the thumbnail.

If you can use good titles whilst providing good content your audience would be initially attracted without feeling cheated. It would allow for your content to access a larger audience and get more views.

Straightforward, zero fluff titles are great, things like “5 ways to lose a pound a week!” or: “3 days to that awesome tan!” Work great, it tells the viewer what they can expect, and how many points there are.

It’s definitely helpful to your marketing if you can make good videos and get people to view them.

2.) Good images provide a good impression
There are plenty of guides that can help you make great thumbnails happen.

The thumbnail is the first thing anyone sees before clicking on a YouTube video, the actual description of the video comes after your audience sees the thumbnail.

If you can successfully make a good video thumbnail, you can even attract the attention of people who don’t even know how to read your video description!

Images that are relevant to the video title are really important, videos about weightlifting have big, strong weightlifters on their thumbnails, and videos about weight loss have a nice slim girl gracing the thumbnail.

No further explanation is needed if your thumbnail does its job.
Once they have clicked on the video, and have started watching it, you’ve successfully gotten a new viewer.

3.) Creating targeted content
Your Audience needs some reason to stick around, once they have clicked on your video, it’s time for your content to shine.
In the span of the next few minutes, you should achieve the objective of your title, educate them, entertain them, and compel them to stick about.

Human attention spans are quite short, most videos are barely five minutes long, and a fair amount of people do not even watch the first twenty seconds of the videos that they click on. Most videos are between one to three minutes for that reason.

So, if you can make content that would compel people to stay, and watch most of your video, you can have more time to be able to market to them as well. And, with greater time, you can find that your audience may grow, as your videos become more relevant and gains more value with your visitors.

I hope this article on learning from YouTube, and the 3 tips presented can help you achieve more views.
